We work with licensed specialists who can transport dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and many other domestic animals. Some exotic species have additional legal requirements or restrictions depending on the destination. For travel within the UK, your pet should be microchipped and up to date with vaccinations. For travel to Europe, you’ll also need an animal health certificate (AHC) issued by an official vet within 10 days of travel, and in some cases a tapeworm treatment certificate. Rules vary by destination country your move coordinator will confirm exactly what’s required for your specific move.
We recommend getting in touch at least 4–6 weeks before your moving date. This gives enough time to book licensed transport, arrange vet appointments for health certificates, and confirm all documentation is in order before your travel window. No your pet always travels separately in a purpose-built, climate-controlled vehicle with trained animal handlers. We never transport animals in standard removal vans. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and welfare are the priority throughout the journey.
Our licensed pet transport partners are trained in animal welfare and experienced in managing travel anxiety in pets. They use appropriate travel crates, familiar bedding where possible, and calm handling throughout. If your pet has known anxiety or health conditions, let us know in advance and we’ll make sure the right precautions are in place.
